Berry POS ("the App", "we", "our" or "us") is a point-of-sale mobile application developed by بير بوس Company. The App enables businesses to manage orders, print receipts and bills, store order data, connect to the internet to sync information, and recover accounts via email. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect information when you use the App.

2. Information We Collect

• Personal Information: Email address (used for account creation, login and password recovery), store/business name (optional), and any profile information you provide.
• Order & Transaction Data: Orders, invoices, receipts, and transaction history stored in the App or synced to our database.
• Device & Connection Data: Device model, operating system version, Bluetooth state (for connecting to printers), IP address and basic connection status.
• Usage Data: App interactions, features used, and crash/diagnostic information collected for improving the App.

3. Firebase Services We Use

The App uses the following Firebase services (Google):

• firebase-analytics — collects anonymous usage statistics to help us understand and improve app behavior.
• firebase-messaging (FCM) — used to deliver push notifications to your device (if you grant notification permission).
• firebase-database — Firebase Realtime Database used to sync and store orders and business data.
• firebase-inappmessaging-display — used to display targeted in-app messages that help guide users and announce features.

4. Android Permissions

The App requests the following Android permissions and features. We explain why each is needed:

• android.permission.INTERNET — required for syncing orders, communicating with Firebase services, account login and password recovery.
• android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS — to show push notifications (updates, alerts, reminders) when you allow notifications.
• android.permission.BLUETOOTH, android.permission.BLUETOOTH_ADMIN, android.permission.BLUETOOTH_CONNECT, android.permission.BLUETOOTH_SCAN — used for discovering, pairing and connecting to Bluetooth POS printers to print receipts and bills. Bluetooth is not used to collect unrelated personal data.
• uses-feature android:name="android.hardware.screen.landscape" — indicates the app is designed to run in landscape orientation on POS devices.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Create and manage user accounts and authentication.
• Store, process and sync orders, invoices and receipts.
• Connect and send print jobs to Bluetooth POS printers.
• Send password reset emails and deliver notifications.
• Analyze usage (via Firebase Analytics) to improve features and stability.

6. Data Storage & Security

Order and account data synced to Firebase Realtime Database are stored under our project and protected using Firebase security rules. We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We may share data only in the following limited situations:

• With Firebase/Google as necessary for the App to function.
• With service providers contracted to assist in operating the App (e.g., email delivery services).
• If required by law, or to respond to lawful requests by public authorities.

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

8. Password Recovery

If you use the "Forgot Password" functionality, we will use your provided email only to verify identity and deliver password reset instructions.

9. Children

The App is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
